The social work community in Louisiana came together as an Inter Organizational Committee (IOC) to review any needed changes to the Louisiana Social Work Practice Act. The group has been meeting since May 2018 and is ready to present proposed changes. We are seeking your written comments by November 15, 2019. Those that are able to attend a Town Hall Meeting will receive one (1) hour of general continuing education. If you are not able to attend a Town Hall Meeting, the information about the changes is posted below.
