The Louisiana State Board of Social
Work Examiners may grant endorsement to MSWs who hold a current social
work credential in another jurisdiction with qualifications equivalent to
those required for the Louisiana credential.
The current requirements for GSW
certification are as follows: Candidate must be of good moral character,

the Council on Social Work Education and a passing score on an examination

does not allow for waiver of any of the requirements.
