Instructions for Online Open Book Exam
You have been issued an invitation to
take the Open Book Exam because of a Consent Agreement and Order. The Open
Book Exam is to be taken by the individual acknowledged in the invitation.
The questions and answers are not to be shared or discussed with others. It
is recommended that you use a computer with a high speed internet
connection, and that you choose a quiet testing environment. Once you
begin the exam you have three (3) hours to complete the exam. If
you do not complete the exam within three (3) hours, your exam will be
considered a failed exam and you may be charged a test fee for retaking the
exam.
Passing the Test
The Open Book Exam consists of 50 items
developed from the Louisiana Social Work Practice Act and the Rules,
Standards and Procedures. A score of 70% is passing. You may retake
the test if you fail and there is no waiting period. You are expected to
pay the administration fee for the exam if you retake. Your invitation
will expire 90-days from the date you signed the Consent Agreement and
Order.
Testing Fees
The administrative fee for the exam
is $25.00. An invitation to take the exam will be
sent via email once payment is processed. Your invitation will expire
90-days from the date you signed the Consent Agreement and Order.
Please take this into consideration and not delay in submitting your
payment.
Payment in the form of a check or money
order can be mailed to LABSWE at 18550 Highland Road, Suite B, Baton Rouge,
LA 70809. Payment may also be made by debit or credit card via
http://secure.labswe.org/olt/. If you
pay online with a debit or credit card you will
be charged a processing fee of $3.00. You must pay the administrative fee
each time you take the test.
Accessing the Online Test
You will be sent an email notifying that
you may take the exam. This email notification will contain the URL link
and your respondent ID number. You must use this respondent ID number in
order to login to the test.
